Do you run short of time during the holiday seasons?  Do you run out of ideas of what to cook around the holidays?  If you do, you should plan to attend the “Plan Ahead-Get Your Holiday Act Together” Workshop being held today from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon at the Vermilion Extension Office Meeting Room in Abbeville. 

Mandy Armentor, Extension Agent (Family & Consumer Sciences) with the LSU AgCenter, will teach Six Steps to Better Nutrition and Am I Losing My Mind?  The V.V.F.C. will have representatives teaching Decorating Tips and Heritage Skills.

Tasting of foods prepared will be available along with door prizes.

To purchase tickets for this workshop, you may go by the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service at 1105 West Port Street, Abbeville. Deadlines for purchasing tickets is one week prior to the program or until they are sold out.
