Christmas will be here before we know it. In past years, during the Christmas season, people have selflessly provided gifts for children of Faith House to help them celebrate Christmas. Faith House is a non-profit organization that helps women survivors of domestic violence and their children.

The Christmas season is a very hard time for these families, and while staff strives to make the holiday special, it’s not easy and we can’t do it alone. Many of Faith House families leave their homes with only the clothes on their backs. Christmas should be a joyous occasion, but due to the circumstances, most of these families would have no Christmas gifts at all without the help of the kind supporters of this program.

Presently, Faith House Children’s Advocate, Trisha Breaux, is working with over 100 boys and girls, ranging in age from infants to seventeen years. Each child has a wish list to help make shopping easier.

Faith House accepts gift cards and doesn’t mind doing the shopping for you. All donations are tax deductible. You can make a difference in the life of a needy child and put a smile on a precious little face by adopting a family or child. The deadline to adopt a family or a child is Dec. 17, 2008.
