On Thursday, Eunice Police arrested a Eunice man and charged him with being a principal to an attempted second degree murder incident.

Vernon Johnson, 32, of 111 East Ardoin, was allegedly involved in an incident on Saturday, August 23, during which he is alleged to have provided a gun to his brother, Travous Johnson, 29, who allegedly fired six shots at another man with whom he was having an argument.

None of the shots hit their intended target.

An officer apprehended Vernon Johnson while on patrol in the Beulah Gardens subdivision.
