CROWLEY – This week, Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a theft.Crowley Police are currently investigating several thefts of generators, which have been used by home owners during recent hurricanes. Thieves are striking various areas of the city and it is unknown if the different thefts are being done by the same suspects. These thefts have occurred in the northeast area, southern area and eastern area of Crowley.

Home owners are urged to secure generators and other property inside secured storage buildings or outside utility rooms for safe keeping when not in operation.
