Rayne defeated Eunice 4-2 in the Pony finals to advance to the 13-14 year olds state tournament in Crowley set to begin on Wednesday.

Eunice fell into the loser's bracket with a loss to Westlake on Friday, then defeated Iowa 13-2 on Saturday and advanced with a 6-5 victory over Westlake on Sunday.

Rayne (4-0) rolled through the winner's bracket with wins over Iowa, Westlake and then Eunice.

The Crowley Americans captured the Mustang title Monday with a 18-7 win over the Eunice Americans.

Eunice had defeated the Opelousas Americans 5-3 in an elimination game earlier on Monday to advance to the finals.

With the win, Crowley advances to the section tournament that begins Friday in Mamou.
