Rash of burglaries being investigated

CROWLEY – This week, Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a rash of vehicle burglaries.

Crowley Police are investigating a rash of vehicle burglaries, which have occurred during the past several weeks within the city. Police have received reports of these burglaries in various areas of town. Some of the burglaries are by force as others are occurring, as vehicles have not been locked. Property, which has been reported stolen, ranges from stereo equipment, brief cases, cell phones, purses, CD’s and other personal effects.

Crime Stoppers would like to remind residents to remove items from your vehicles, which are not permanently mounted, to reduce your chances of becoming a victim.

If you have any information regarding the persons responsible for these burglaries, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish at 789-TIPS / 789-8477. All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
