Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 13, 2012 (Time Pending), at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for James Lee Robin, 62, who died on Monday, August 6, 2012.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am Sunday and continue until time of service on Monday. A rosary will be recited on Sunday evening.

Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum.

Mr. Robin was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having honorably served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

He was employed by Bean Dredging as Chief Engineer for 31 years, and also worked for William-McWilliam for several years.

In his free time, James enjoyed fishing and crawfishing.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janice T. Robin; his son, Donny Robin and wife, Vickie; three daughters, Natosha Tabor and husband, Terry, Crystal Robin and fiancé, Andy Racca, and Catina Theriot and husband, Stanley; sister, Betty Lopez; his step sister, Rose Ann Guidry; two step brothers, Donald Guidry and wife, Geraldine, and Ronald Guidry and companion, Faye; nine grandchildren, Jacob Fuselier, Storm Robin, Ashby Robin, Anna Dubois, Zoé Tabor, Brayden Robin, Ava Theriot, Caleb Theriot, and Ariel Robin as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Robin and Rita Olivier Castille; step mother and nanny, Joyce Robin; two brothers, Jessie P. Robin and Gerald J. Robin.

Pallbearers will be Donny Robin, Stanley Theriot, Andy Racca, Donavon Lopez, Paul Robin, Mike Lopez, Storm Robin, Daniel Wilson, and Jude Robin.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
