Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 pm , on Saturday, July 14, 2012 , at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Elta Lee Mary Artigue, 54, who passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at her residence.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday and continue at 8:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday.

Fr. Brian Taylor will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures will be Heather Cox and Cheslie Pirnie. Gift Bearers will be Roxanne Moss, Lisa Quebedeaux and Shelia Marks.

Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum in Arnaudville.

Elta Lee enjoyed spending time outside in the garden. She loved being with her family and enjoyed the company of her cats.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Randy Artigue of Arnaudville; her brothers, Ronald (Glenda) Hawkins and Guy (Bonnie) Hawkins; her sister, Roxanne (Adrian) Moss; her brother in law, Glenn Artigue; her sisters in law, Shelia Marks and Lisa Quebedeaux; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Guy Hawkins Sr., her mother, Lorraine Guilbeau Hawkins; her brother, Brent A. Hawkins; her sister, Gloria Hawkins and her brother in law, Michael Marks.

Pallbearers will be Guy Hawkins, Glenn Artigue, Ronnie Hawkins, Adrian Moss, Ryan Hawkins and Michael Hawkins.
