SHREVEPORT – A Shreveport man has been convicted of the second degree murder of a 17-month-old.

A Caddo Parish jury found Anthony Johnson, 22, guilty Wednesday of shooting LeGary Adams, 17 in August 2008.

Johnson fired shots at a home, some of which struck and eventually killed the youngster.

The conviction carries a mandatory life imprisonment penalty.
