St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Lorraine Marie Boudreaux Maturin, 65, who passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Kindred Hospital of Lafayette.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Rev. Rusty P. Richard officiated at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures were read by Korie Maturin, Halee Snellgrove and Alexis Latiolais. Gift Bearers were Alayna Latiolais, Kaelie Maturin and Zackorie Maturin.

Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.

Mrs. Maturin was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by two sons, James (Bonnie) Maturin Jr. of St. Martinville and Glenn (Debbie) Maturin of Arnaudville; her daughter, Anitra (Bryan) Latiolais of St. Martinville; four brothers, Larry (Sandra) Boudreaux of Lafayette, Joseph (Lena) Boudreaux of St. Martinville, Nolan (Delores) Boudreaux of St. Martinville and Hubal (Eva) Boudreaux of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, Tyler Maturin, Korie Arceneaux, Joshua Maturin, Malorie Maturin, Blake Maturin, Alexis Latiolais, Alayna Latiolais, Kaelie Maturin and Zackorie Maturin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Maturin Sr.; her parents, Sidney and Leontine Laviolette Boudreaux; and two brothers, Deano Boudreaux Sr. and Voorhies Boudreaux.

Pallbearers were James Maturin Jr., Glenn Maturin, Bryan Latiolais, Larry Boudreaux, Tyler Maturin, Joshua Maturin and Blake Maturin.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
