Retired DA

LAPLACE – Services for retired District Attorney John Crum, Jr. were Saturday. He died May 2 at age 66.

He was the first DA oi the 40th Judicial District, serving from 1983 until 2009.

Survivors include his wife Patricia, a son and two daughters.

Arrangements were by Thibodaux.

Long-time pediatrician

BATON ROUGE – Services are Monday for long-time pediatrician Dr. Wallace Dunlap. He died May 2 at age 76.

He was on the staff at The Pediatric Clinic for 40 years and active in a number of professional and civic organizations. He participated in many construction and medical missionary trips to Alaska and Mexico.

Survivors include his wife Jane, a son, a daughter and two step-children.

Six-term police juror

BOSSIER CITY – Services will be Tuesday for former street superintendent and police juror Vincent “Pete” Glorioso. He died May 3 at age 82.

He was manager of Rose Oil Gas Co. for 40 years, Bossier City street superintendent for 12 years and a police juror for 24 years.

Survivors include his wife Beulah and a daughter.

Arrangements are by Rose-Neath.

Former LSU professor

BATON ROUGE – Services are pending in Pittsburgh, Penn. for LSU Professor Emeritus and former distinguished member of the Zoology faculty Dr. George Kent, Jr. He died at age 97.

One of his textbooks is in its 10th edition. He was among the first trio inducted in 2005 into the LSU College of Sciences Hall of Distinction.

Survivors include a daughter.
