St. Martinville – Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Nolan Joseph Broussard Jr., 60, who passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012, at his residence in St. Martinville.

Rev. Donald Pousson officiated at the Funeral Service.

Nolan enjoyed watching LSU and the Saints. He enjoyed working outside in his garden and spending time with his family and friends throughout the community, especially at Christmas time.

He is survived by his father, Nolan Broussard Sr. of St. Martinville; his wife, Dorothy Broussard of St. Martinville; his son, Joshua Broussard of St. Martinville; three daughters, Tammy (Chad) Laviolette of Broussard, Tracy (Chris) Comeaux of Youngsville and Tara (Collins) Lasseigne of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Kenneth (Janice) Broussard of Kenner; his sister, ReNeil (Jay) Broussard of Coteau Holmes; and his three grandchildren, Paige Laviolette, Seth Laviolette and Cale Lasseigne.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Viator Broussard.

A rosary was recited at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.

Pallbearers were Joshua Broussard, Chad Laviolette, Chris Comeaux and Collins Lasseigne.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
