The Breaux Bridge Tigers and Cecilia Bulldogs faced each other in their first two district games and ended the week each 1-1 in district play. St. Martinville’s district start wasn’t so great as they fell in both games against Teurlings.

On Tuesday, March 20, the Breaux Bridge Tigers hosted the Bulldogs for a 5-2 win, and the St. Martinville Tigers hosted Teurlings for a 10-0 loss.

On Thursday, March 22, Teurlings hosted St. Martinville, and the Tigers came up short for an 8-1 loss. The second Breaux Bridge-Cecilia game was rescheduled for noon on Sunday due to the heavy rains we had on Wednesday.

St. Martinville visited Erath on Saturday, March 24, and again came up short 13-3 in the non-district match. Cecilia visited Vermilion Catholic and also came up short 7-5 in the non-district match.

There was no report on Breaux Bridge’s visit to Denham Springs on Saturday. However the Tigers district game against Cecilia on Sunday gave the Bulldogs another one for the win column with an overall 6-3 score.
