The contest is for girls between the ages of 0 and 22 years.
Custom crowns, monogrammed banners, engraved silver trays and custom medallions will be awarded to certain age groups. Photogenic entries will also be awarded in each age group.
The 2012 Miss St. Martin will be awarded a $500 scholarship at the end of her reign if all of her duties are fulfilled.
Applications for the pageant can be picked up at Tee Wee Fashions, Company Salon, and City Hall in St. Martinville; Monroe’s in Breaux Bridge and all three area high schools.
Registration fees depend on the age group entered and the deadline for the early entry fee is April 11.

The 2012 Miss and Junior Miss St. Martin pageant is sponsored by the Creole Farmer’s Market Association, a subcommittee of the St. Martinville Main Street Association. All proceeds are used to further the observance of the farming industry and to support the youth of our community.
