Henderson – Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Homes Chapel for Milton Joseph Delahoussaye, 89, who passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette.

Rev. Michael Keith Landry conducted the services.

Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.

A rosary was recited at time 7 p.m. on Monday.

Milton enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Allemand Delahoussaye of Henderson; his sons, Rocky Delahoussaye and his wife Sheila, Corky J. Delahoussaye Sr. and Wendell J. Delahoussaye, all of Henderson; his daughter, Freda Gautreaux and her husband, Toby of Cecilia; his grandchildren, Corky Delahoussaye Jr., Kyle Delahoussaye, Hanna Delahoussaye, Kenneth Delahoussaye, Jordan Gautreaux, Braydon Gautreaux, Brodie Dekerlegand, Garrett Dekerlegand, April Dekerlegand, Angel Delahoussaye, Jude Courville and Kimberly Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Marie Poirier Delahoussaye; his sons, Garrett “Tiger” John Delahoussaye and Kenneth “Ken” Wayne Delahoussaye; his brothers, Anatole, Avery, Allen, Lawrence and Theodule Delahoussaye; and his sisters, Josephine D. Thibodeaux and Edna D. Babin.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
