Carencro – Jenna Paige Theriot and Brandon Michael Benoit were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

The Reverend Allen Breaux officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Kelly Guidry of Parks. The groom is the son of Mr. Bryan “Ed” and Mrs. Gayle Benoit of Carencro.

Escorted by her grandfather, the bride wore an ivory gown by Maggie Sottero named “Jenna.” It was a full A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset closure, with tiers of fanciful frills forming a flowing train. Bordeaux taffeta intersected throughout the bodice, which created a marvelous woven look. Beaded embellishments outlined the angular dropped waist.

Maid of honor was Tara Dautreuil. Matron of honor was Caddie Champagne, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids included Jade Theriot, sister of the bride; Andrea Guidry, aunt of the bride; Marae Guidry, cousin of the bride; Katy Brennan and Sarah Sonnier.

Best man was Lance Benoit, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Daniel Benoit, brother of the groom; Brandon Nicko, Robbie Andaya, Blake Gary, Adam O’Pry and Brandon Guidry, uncle of the bride.

Ring bearers were Isaiah Reed, Elliot Reed, Heagan Arnold and Jayce Guidry.

Ushers were Kalen Guidry, cousin of the bride; and Chris Albert. Lectors were Rachael Venable, godmother of the bride; and Blake Couvillion.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Feezo’s III in Scott.

After returning from a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple will reside in Pensacola, Fla.
