	<strong>St. Martinville –</strong> The 2010 St. Martinville Sr. High Tiger Camp for basketball will  be held June 4-12.<!--break-->

	The camp is open to boys and girls age 8-12 and will emphasize practicing fundamental skills, playing with enthusiasm and intensity, and becoming a team player.

	Participants will practice from Friday to Friday and play a round robin tournament on Saturday, June 12, with four teams of eight players each. Food and drinks will be provided for participants and parents during the tournament.

	Registration will take place on Saturday, May 22, from 8 to 10 a.m. in the SMSH gym lobby. Enrollment will be limited to 32 youngsters on a first come, first served basis. The registration fee is $50.

The City of St. Martinville has announced its schedule of summer camps.

The swimming camp will be conducted at the city pool, 501 S. Theater St. All other classes will be in the St. Martinville Senior High gym, 762 N. Main.

All camps except football are open to girls as well as boys.

Schedule

•Volleyball – June 6-9, 1-5 p.m.

•Basketball – June 13-16, 1-5 p.m. and June 27-30, 1-5 p.m.

•Tennis – June 20-24, 1-5 p.m.

•Special Olympics – July 11-14, 1-5 p.m.

•Football – July 18-21, 1-5 p.m.

•Swimming – July 25-28, 8 a.m.-noon.
