Cecilia – Jenny Lynn Clay and Cody Samuel Champagne were united in marriage on Friday, May 27, 2011, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church.

Father Michael Delcambre officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Deanna Clay of Cecilia. The groom is the son of Danny Champagne and Lisa Champagne, both of Cecilia.

Escorted by her mother and father, the bride wore Adorae by Maggie Sottero, which was a slim A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset closure. It featured a white satin, ruched bodice, with a balloon hem train. She carried a bouquet of purple peonies with peacock feathers.

Maid of honor was Jamie Martin, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Megan Clay, Penny Clay, Kristen Champagne and Kasha Bodin.

Best man was Danny Champagne, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Patrick Clay, Benjamin Clay, Brandon Champagne and Beau Champagne.

Ushers were Jerek Johnson and Chris Martin.

Flower girls were Sage Champagne and Emily Clay.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Marielle’s in Breaux Bridge.

The couple will reside in Cecilia.
