St. Martinville – Brittney Leigh Berard and Brady Paul Hulin were united in marriage on Saturday, May 21, 2011, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.

Monseigneur Douglas Courville officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kim and Liz Berard of St. Martinville. The groom is the son of Galton Jr. and Roylene Hulin of St. Martinville.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless, mermaid cut dress by renowned designer Essence of Australia. The gown was in their signature Ivory Angel Satin Fabric and Ivory Alecon Lace, embellished with diamante and Swarovski crystals, sequins and pearls. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline and diagonally ruched bodice, accented by lace appliques throughout. It was a classic gown with thoroughly modern touches, featuring sheer panels of lace along the hemline and semi-cathedral train and a corset back. Her ivory chapel length veil complemented the lace panels on the semi-cathedral train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet clutch of white hydrangeas, vendella ivory roses, white tulips and white mini calla lilies.

Maid of honor was Janci Bienvenu. Bridesmaids were Erica Roy, Danielle Bourque, Tristan Bienvenu, Jamie Yates, sister of the groom; Ariane Gaudin, Mindy Douet, cousin of the bride; and Cassie Poché.

Best men were Brody Hulin and Ethan Hulin, son of the groom. Groomsmen were Gregg Durand, Lyle Willis, Matthew Boudreaux, Jude Bonin, Patrick Talley, Dustin Berard, brother of the bride; and Andrew Bulliard.

Ushers were Jake Delahoussaye, cousin of the bride; and Roy Fuselier, cousin of the groom.

Flower girls were Jayci Delahoussaye, godchild of the bride; and Addisen Yates, niece of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Marielle’s in Breaux Bridge.

After a honeymoon at St. Lucia, the couple will reside in St, Martinville.
