(St. Martinville, La.)- Beginning Friday, May 6, 2011, sandbags will be available for Stephensville-Belle River residents from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. on Friday, and 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. on Saturday. And again on Monday, May 9th, from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. continuing each day until further notice.

The procedure will be as follows regarding sandbag distribution:

Empty sandbags will be distributed at the Stephensville Recreation Park on Hwy. 70 and then

residents will proceed to any of the six following sand distribution locations to fill their own sandbags:

Gravel Turnaround Across from Doiron's Landing on Hwy. 70

Stepehensville Rd. across from the Stephensville Fire Station

East Stephensville Road at the Bus turn around near the Mosquito Bar

End of Four Mile Bayou Road

Water Tower on Tower Tank Road

Hwy. 70 Across from the Belle River Fire Station
