Lafayette – Members of the Lambda Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi completed a boat ride on the Vermilion River recently.

The ride started at Vermilionville and took the group south on the Vermilion River past the Lafayette airport, Oakbourne Club and the beautiful homes and gardens along the river.

Vermilionville is part of the national Ranger Service properties.

The guide and boat driver was Greg Guidroz.

The group held its monthly meeting at the Cusine de Mamam on the Vermilionville property in the glass room overlooking the river. Pam Chauvin provided a program on the four leaf clover and its magical stories.

Judy Herman, the group’s hostess, prepared St. Patrick Day treats, including a green cake.
