Broussard accident leaves one dead

Broussard Police, Louisiana State Police, Acadian Ambulance and the Broussard Fire Department responded to an accident along Hwy 90 this morning where a cement truck flipped onto a pick up truck leaving one person dead. The accident happened around 10:30 this morning just on the other side of the St. Martin Parish line, in front of SWACO.

Traffic was still flowing as rescue efforts were under way.
