BATON ROUGE -- A Baker man was killed Monday afternoon when he drove his vehicle into the back of another, stalled on I-10 by traffic congestion.

State Police said Stephen Zettlemoyer, 61, was not wearing a seat belt when his car, with no evidence of breaking, smashed at high speed into the rear of an SUV stopped in the east-bound lane at Bluff Road overpass.

That overpass is between the Highland Road exit and the Prairieville (La. 73) exit.

The driver of the SUV, William Dawson, 61, of Gonzales was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries, police said.
