Breaux Bridge – St. Martin Parish Library will host a local author and photographer, Greg Guirard, in an Atchafalaya Evening During the Magic Hour on Tuesday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Breaux Bridge Branch Library, as he discusses and signs his latest book, “Atchafalaya Autumn II.”

Guirard, a modern day renaissance man, states in his book, “Now I am primarily a photographer and writer. I feel more satisfied by my present work than by anything else.”

Many of the photographs in “Atchafalaya Autumn II” reveal the author’s bias in favor of early morning and late evening, “the magic hour, when colors become richer and textures capture the light in appealing ways,” says Guirard.

The St. Martin Parish Library Breaux Bridge Branch is located at 102 Courthouse Street.
