One of the year’s special programs is coming up Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV

Show in Eunice.

It will be a Night to Remember with Louisiana Legend JO-EL SONNIER, an appearance sponsored by the Louisiana Office of Tourism “Louisiana...Pick Your Passion.”

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” show is held every Saturday night at 6 at

the historic Liberty Theater in downtown Eunice.

A “Cajun Grand Ole Opry” this 90 -minute show features a dance floor, an emcee who hosts the program in Cajun French and popcorn and soda for an old-fashioned family-friendly event.

The tickets are only $5 and can be purchased at the Liberty Theater’s ticket window, at South 2nd & Park Avenue, beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

AND, don’t forget, while you are in Eunice, to visit on Saturday:

The Eunice Depot Museum (open 8:30 am to 4:30 pm),

the Cajun French Music Association’s Cajun Music Hall of Fame and Museum (8:30-4:30)

The Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Perserve’s Prairie Acadian Culture Center (8 to 5 337-457-8499) which hosts a Music Program every Saturday at 3.
