According to State Police, Britanny Hopper 24, was in a vehicle which left the roadway at the drawbridge on La. 733 about 2:30 a.m., went down an embankment and overturned.
Another ejected occupant, Karin Lefeaux, 33, of Sunset was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, police said.
A third occupant, Andrea Boiteaux, 19, of Franklin was also injured.
State Police had not determined at mid-morning the identity of the driver.
