Interment followed at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery.
Fr. Gary Schexnailder officiated at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures were read by Paige Hollier and Omar Jimenez. Gift Bearers were Tyra Hollier Darby and Cynthia Hollier.
Mr. Hollier was a veteran of World War II, having honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars, Knights of Columbus, and the Sertoma Club. Mr. Hollier was a carpenter by trade, had previously owned and operated a meat market a number of years ago, and had also worked for the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy and Dispatcher.
He was a man of great character, who possessed a trait of selflessness, always giving of his time to anyone in need. Bradley was never one to stay idle, when he was not working, he volunteered numerous hours of his time to the Senior Care Center in Breaux Bridge, as well as the nursing home, and various other organizations.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he had the chance. What he looked forward to the most and treasured, were the many times that he could spend with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and most of all, his beloved wife, Lena. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, but he will long be remembered for his countless deeds done throughout St. Martin and St. Landry Parishes.
