State Police said Darrell W. Wilson, 53, of 742 Hwy. 356 was west bound on that road when his bike left the road in a left curve near Hypolite Miller Road.
According to police, Wilson was wearing a helmet. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wilson's death was the third traffic fatality Troop I has worked this year, which began a week ago.
