(St. Martinville, La.)-On October 22, 2010, Deputies with the St. Martin Parish

Sheriff's Office arrested 19 year old Dillon Alex Mier, of St. Martinville, for

False Impersonation of a Police Officer in connection with this morning's

incident in Catahoula. Mier was driving a 2005 Grey Scion TC with North

Carolina license plates that was equipped with red and blue flashing lights. He

was booked into St. Martin Parish Correctional Center without bond. A juvenile

subject who was a passenger in the vehicle, was not charged in connection with

this incident. It appears that there was no criminal intent on behalf of the

suspect and apparently he was attempting to carry out a prank. However, we

would like to remind the public that this is a serious situation and if anyone

comes into contact with a person who they fear is not a law enforcement

official, to call 911 to immediately report it.
