OAKDALE -- Allen Parish voters banned video poker fifteen years ago, but now they will be asked to allow it again.
A recent Police Jury vote will put a referendum to reinstate video poker on the October 22 ballot.
Parish officials say the machines could bring in $160,000 per year for the parish.
Allen was among 33 parishes that banned the machines back in 1996.
