St. Martinville – The organizers of Tour du Teche are at it again, if the big Tour du Teche, the Petite Tour du Teche and the Great Bayou Teche Dog Paddle weren’t enough.

Tour du Teche, Inc., is excited to announce that it will host a new event on April 24 – 28, 2013, Cycle Cajun Country.

Cycle Cajun Country is a bicycle tour from Berwick, La., to Opelousas, La., through a scenic route along the Bayou Teche Corridor that features nightly stops of music, food and entertainment in true Tour du Teche fashion. Registration will open in January on the event’s soon-to-be launched website, www.cyclecajuncountry.com.

Tour du Teche, Inc., is a non-profit organization that was organized to promote outdoor recreation along the Bayou Teche Corridor through St. Landry, St. Martin, Iberia and St. Mary parishes.
