A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville.
Rev. Joseph Padinjarepeedika conducted the services. Reading the scriptures were Candice Resweber and Mary Ann Dugas. Gift bearers were Jaiden Dugas, Lauren Olivier, Brooke Olivier, Tara Serrette, Amber Dugas and Alyse Dugas.
Interment followed at St. Elizabth Cemetery.
Mrs. Dugas was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who loved her. She worked hard all her life, but enjoyed spending time with her family especially when they traveled together.
She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and pokeno.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia (Pat) Dugas Olivier and her husband Gerald Olivier of Catahoula; one son, Allen Dugas Sr. and his wife Geraldine Fremin Dugas of Coteau Holmes; six grandchildren, Troy Olivier and his wife Karin, David Dugas and his wife Jennifer, Tessie Serrette and her husband David, Sherrie Resweber and her husband Paul, Jason Dugas and Mark Dugas and his wife Heidi; 14 great-grandchildren, Josh Serrrette and his wife Monique, Heather Resweber, Krista Dugas, Jude Dugas and his wife Courtney, Kayla Dugas, Candice Resweber, Alyse Dugas, Braxton Resweber , Amber Dugas, Max Dugas, Lauren Olivier, Tara Serrette, Brooke Olivier and Jaiden Dugas; three great-great-grandchildren, Jase Serrette, Kyan Batiste and Joni Serrette; and three brothers, Clenis Lasseigne, Rouly Lasseigne and Dalfred Lasseigne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Dugas; her parents, Clebert and Ora Albert Lasseigne; six sisters, Viola Robicheaux, Marie Girouard, Kin Courville, Juliet Granger, Nelda Thibodeaux and Theresa Serrette; one brother, Patrick Lasseigne; and one grandson, Allen (Lil Al) Dugas Jr.
Pallbearers were Troy Olivier, Paul Resweber, David Dugas, Jason Dugas, Mark Dugas and David Serrette.
Honorary pallbearers were Braxton Resweber, Josh Serrette, Jude Dugas and Max Dugas.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of St. Martin Nursing and Rehab.
