Registration will remain open until 5 p.m. Sept. 14, 2012. All registrations must be postmarked by this time.
Paddlers must notify Tour du Teche via e-mail at info@tourduteche.com or fax at (337) 394- 7511 if they are snail-mailing in a form between Sept. 1 and Sept. 14.
Registration fees for the three-day staged 135-mile series of marathons is $125 per paddler in the Racing division, or $80 per paddler in the Voyageur division.
Fees for any of the shorter races (Crawfish, Acadian, Hot Sauce, Sugar, or Oil and Gas) are $60 per paddler and these races are limited to Voyageur division classes only.
Racing division will be paddling for a percentage of a cash purse, which was already up to $10,000 as of April 1.
Voyageurs will be racing for bragging rights and a trophy.
