LEGAL NOTICE

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Fire Protection District Number 4 in the South Station located at 5335 Highway 14, Lake Arthur, Louisiana, on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. for purchase of the following:

ONE (1) USED 2000 MODEL OR NEWER CHASSIS TANDEM AXLE 52,000 GVWR WITH 4,000 GALLON WATER TANK, MINIMUM 350 PTO PUMP

Specifications may be obtained from Mr. Jared Manuel, Fire Chief, at 5335 Highway 14, Lake Arthur, Louisiana or by calling 337-224-4974.

All bids received on this date will be taken under advertisement to be accepted or rejected according to law.

Certification that Bidder is an Equal Opportunity Employer is required.

Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, and provisions manufactured or grown in Louisiana quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the state.

All bids must be in the hands of Mr. Jared Manuel, Fire Chief, P.O. Box 741, Lake Arthur, Louisiana, 70549 by mail or hand delivered to 5335 Highway 14, Lake Arthur, Louisiana, 70549. All bids must be received on or before time specified and must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope “BID FOR USED CHASSIS TANDEM AXLE WITH TANK.”
