Lafayette – Memorial services were held at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012, in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Paul J. “PJ” Castille, 86, who passed away on June 12, 2012, at 6:20 p.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert of St. Bernard Catholic church conducted the funeral services.

Interment will take place at a later date.

Mr. Castille, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Tilden Castille of St. Martin Parish, and the former Evelina Hebert of St. Martin Parish. He enjoyed reading and watching westerns and game shows.

He is survived by three daughters, Stephanie Thibodeaux and husband Terry of Breaux Bridge, Toni Leblanc of Lafayette, and Paula Bordelon and husband David of Lafayette; two sons, Kenneth Castille and wife Lisa of Raleigh, N.C., and Michael Castille and wife Sandra of Breaux Bridge; nine grandchildren, Danielle Simon Broussard, Ross Paul Thibodeaux, Gabrielle Castille, Colin Castille, Michelle LeBlanc Kleinpeter, Sarah Castille Bohall, David Castille, Paige Mier and Drake Mier; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gladys “Tiny” Savoy Castille; and one brother, Nolan Castille.
