St. Martinville – Funeral services were held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Patsy Ann Bernard Montin, 70, who passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.

Fr. Donald Pousson officiated at the funeral service.

Patsy enjoyed gardening, playing golf, traveling, and loved swamp pop music and dancing. She was a terrific hostess and great chef, who loved family gatherings. She loved life to its fullest, laughing, and telling stories.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Leif Montin from Sweden, residing in Breaux Bridge; her son, Johan Rudolf Montin of California; her daughter, Mette Elizabeth Batterton of California; and her sisters, Catherine Romero of Parks and JoAnn Durbin of Ville Platte.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Junise J. and Doris Landry Bernard.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
