Patrick Latiolais died August 12, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after a very brave and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loving members of his family. He was 75 years old.

He will be sorely missed and his sense of humor will long be remembered. Until his retirement he was owner and operator of Pat’s TV and Microwave.

Surviors include his daughters, Shellee Shedd (Eddie) of Broussard, Kesla Young of New Iberia, and Ranee Morrison (Tony) of Denham Springs; one son, Patrick Latiolais Jr. of Broussard; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Gerald Latiolais of Broussard, Dennis Latiolais of Lafayette and Russell Latiolais of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and two sisters, Mildred Delcambre of Breaux Bridge and Priscilla Guidry of St. Martinville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lottie Latiolais of St. Martinville; three brothers, Clifford and Willie Jr. Latiolais of New Orleans and Robert Latiolais of Lake Tahoe; and one sister, Belle Unland of New Orleans.

The family would like to thank the 3rd and 5th floor staff for their very compassionate and loving hands-on care of Pat while he was a patient there. They would also like to thank Hospice of Acadiana for their help.
