Youngsville – Amy Marie Frederick and Zachary Ryan Thevenet exchanged wedding vows on October 29, 2011, during a 4 p.m. ceremony performed by Barbara Broussard.

The bride is the daughter of Stacy and Liz Savoy Frederick of Youngsville and the granddaughter of Lorris and Rose Savoy Jr. of Youngsville and Harold and Marie Frederick of Youngsville. She is a graduate of Comeaux High School and employed by Creative Minds Preschool.

The groom is the son of John and Miranda Guidry Thevenet of Parks and the grandson of Alton and Judy Guidry of Parks and Gloria Thevenet of Breaux Bridge and the late Pat Thevenet. He is a graduate of Breaux Bridge High and is employed by the Iberia Parish Fire District #1.

Kaci Thevenet Landry, sister of the groom, served as matron of honor, and Samantha Frederick, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amber Dore, Ashlynn Duhon and Emily Dugas.

Brody Miller served as best man. Groomsmen were Jordan Guillot, Lance Landry and Josh Laque.

Katie Lyn Thevenet, daughter of the bride and groom; and Adisyn and Amelia Guidry served as flower girls, and Chance Landry, godchild and nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony. The couple will reside in Youngsville.
