Lafayette – Rachel Marie LeBlanc and Nathan Riley Tarver were united in marriage on Aug. 7, 2010, during a 4 p.m. ceremony in Lafayette.

Preston Leger officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Roland “Joey” and Sue A. LeBlanc of Cecilia. The groom is the son of Cecil Donald Tarver Jr. of Zachary.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore a soft organza A-line ivory dress with a runched empire bodice and center brooch. The dress featured an apple red ribbon tied around the upper part of the dress with a sweep train.

She carried a bouquet of white roses and red calla lilies, laced with ivory satin ribbon. An ivory veil was connected to the flower hairpiece.

Maid of honor was Heather LeBlanc, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were René Bourque and Angel Lanclos.

Best man was Stephen Jarell. Groomsmen were Robert Adam and Jon Broussard.

Ushers were Phillip Domingue, nephew of the bride, and Tanner Ham, nephew of the groom.

Flower girl was Ashlyn Jarrell.

Ring bearer was James Ham, nephew of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Hilton Garden Inn.

After a honeymoon in Disney World, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
