Cecilia – Andrea Elizabeth Dugas and Dane Dekerlegand were united in marriage on Friday, June 17, 2011, during a 7 p.m. Mass at St Joseph Roman Catholic Church.

Father Michael Delcambre officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Allen and Belinda Dugas of Henderson. The groom is the son of Melvin and Jennifer Dekerlegand of Cecilia.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a slim line gown with a zipper and self-covered button closure. The stretch satin gown featured a Queen Anne neckline with heavily beaded lace motifs. It also featured a keyhole back with an asymmetrical skirt and a pleated train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of yellow roses and white spray roses, which was accented with brown feathers.

Maid of honor was India Harris. Matron of honor was Casie Dekerlegand, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Erin Duhon, Naomi Hebert, Heather Dupuis, Courtney Meche and Kayla Simon.

Best man was Melvin Dekerlegand, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Ray, Chad and Jody Dekerlegand, brothers of the groom; Ryan Courville, Kelly Courville and Bryan Huval.

Ushers were Joshua Johnson and Evyn Dekerlegand.

Flower girl was Janey Johnson. Ring bearer was Drey Dekerlegand.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Marielle’s in Breaux Bridge.

The couple will spend their honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico.
