Cecilia – Ashley Elizabeth Angelle and Cy David Guidry were united in marriage on August 19, 2011, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Father Michael Delcambre and Deacon Kenneth Soignier officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Angelle of Cecilia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald James Guidry of Cecilia.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a white strapless designer ballgown. The embroidered bodice featured a sweetheart neckline and was fully adorned with crystals and pearls. The gown featured a satin pick-up skirt embellished with crystals, pearls and embroidery which flowed into a cathedral length train. Completing her ensemble was a chapel length veil that matched the beading and embroidery on her gown. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies accented with her great grandmother’s rosary.

Maid of honor was Lacey Reneé Angelle, sister of the bride. Matrons of honor were Lauren Dean and Brandy Gravouilla. Bridesmaids were Tara Albert, Alicia Angelle, Jeannemarie Angelle and Remie Cormier, cousins of the bride; Blair Guidry, cousin of the groom; and Donna Guidry, sister of the groom.

Best man was Jules Guidry, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Codey Angelle, brother of the bride; Danny Cormier, Courtney Gravouilla and Cody Guidry, cousins of the groom; Kade Hebert and Kaleb Hebert, cousins of the bride; John Robin, brother-in-law of the groom; and Jared Wyatt.

Serving as flower girl was Caroline Dean, godchild of the bride, and ring bearer was Connor Dean, godchild of the bride.

Ushers were Kenneth Angelle II, cousin of the bride and Chris Arnaud and Blake Latiolais.

Gift bearers were Melissa Hebert, godmother of the bride and Vicky Bordelon, godmother of the groom.

Scripture readers were Dena Robin, sister of the groom, and Jhansi Calais.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Marielle’s in Breaux Bridge.

After a honeymoon to Puerto Vallerta, Mexico, the couple will reside in Breaux Bridge.
