Scott – Patience Marie Viator and Coy Christopher Bergeron were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, during a 6:30 p.m. nuptial Mass, candlelight double-ring ceremony.

Rev. Ron Anson officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ivan and Michelle Viator of of St. Martinville. The groom is the son of Jerry and Susan Bergeron of Rayne.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant, strapless A-line gown of ivory duchess satin and luxe taffeta. The bodice featured cascading embroidery and crisscross midriff draping that wrapped onto the corset-tie back. Peaked embroidery detailed the skirt and chapel train. The headpiece featured a two-tier round satin corded edge fingertip veil in ivory.

She carried a bouquet of chocolate roses.

Maid of honor was Amanda Howard Andre.

Bridesmaids were D’Arcie and Marion Viator, sisters of the bride.

Flower girl was Grace Bergeron, godchild of the groom.

Ring bearer was Peyton Estis, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Zane Bergeron.

Groomsmen were Jake and Beau Bergeron, brothers of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Sunny Meade.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
