A widow previously married to her late husband Ernest Thibodeaux, she is survived by five children, Roxanne T. Greene, James Ernest Thibodeaux, Anthony Thibodeaux, Gregory Paul Thibodeaux and Wendy Marie Thibodeaux Thibodeaux; two sisters, Dale West and Mary Drago; ane one brother, Terry Fusilier.
Mrs. Varner was a retired first grade teacher at St. Martinville Primary School, known as “Mrs. Vern.”
A memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.
