St. Martinville - A Mass of Catholic burial was held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, for Lynne Viator Judice, 47, who passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.

Rev. Rusty Richard officiated at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures for the service were Robin Broussard and Lacia Lantier. Gift bearers were her godchildren.

Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.

Mrs. Judice was a collector of “Barbie” dolls, loved to read and go shopping. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter. She was loved by her family, friends and co-workers. Mrs. Judice was also a very faithful Catholic.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Judice of St. Martinville; her two daughters, Lyndsay (Jarred) Degeyter of St. Martinville, and Victoria Judice of St. Martinville; her parents, Malcolm and Linda Bonin Viator of New Iberia; three brothers, Todd (Tina) Viator of Broussard, Durk (Heidi) Viator of New Iberia, Guy (Spring) Viator of New Iberia; two sisters, Joni (Troy) Lantier of Broussard, Robin (James) Broussard of St. Martinville; father-in-law, Allen Judice; sister-in-law, Sheryl (Frank) Latiolais; her godchildren, Emily Broussard, Lacia Lantier, Dane Lantier, Katherine Viator, Christopher Viator, Natalie Harris and Brandi Brown; also numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Nita and Tildin Bonin Sr.; paternal grandparents, Lena and Anthony Viator; and mother-in-law, Ann Gardemal Judice.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Pallbearers were Todd Viator, Durk Viator, Guy Viator, Jarred Degeyter, Jake Degeyter and Dana Latiolais.

Honorary pallbearers were Troy Lantier, James Broussard and Paul Viator.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
