Fr. Paul LaFleur will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Julie Hulin and Jim Meadows. Gifts will be presented to the Altar by her grandchildren.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Lorraine worked at Fontenot & Guidry’s clothing store in Breaux Bridge for 11 years, and was also a compassionate and devoted caregiver for many years. She enjoyed listening to French music and loved cooking for her family and friends. Lorraine lived for her family, and especially enjoyed the many occasions she could spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy in her life.
Survivors include her three children, Dr. Jimmy Guidry of Baton Rouge and his two children, Bradley Guidry and his fiancée Amy Adams of Baton Rouge, and Amanda Easley and her husband Shane of Central, La.; Billy Guidry and his wife Paula and their two daughters, Katie and Allie Guidry, all of Breaux Bridge; and Flo Meadows and her husband Jim of Lafayette; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Nicholas and Taylor Easley, and Addison Guidry; her brother, Galton Hulin Sr. and his wife Adelia of Cypress Island; and her sister, Mae Bergeron and her husband Lester of Cypress Island.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexandre Guidry; her parents, Sully and Anita Champagne Hulin; two brothers, Murphy Hulin and Hubert J. “Bee” Hulin Sr.; and her sister-in-law, Lorena Hulin.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Honored to serve as her pallbearers are Chester, Leslie and Dexter Bergeron, Danny Comb, Murphy, Ray, Hubert, Huey Galton Jr, and Ricky Hulin.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
