Arnaudville – A Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Joycelyn “Joyce” Marie Guidry, 56, who passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Monday.

Father Donald Pousson officiated at the service. Reading the scriptures were Raquel Champagne and Crystal Callier. Gift bearers were Shonda, Loren and Ethan Babb.

Interment followed at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia.

Miss Joyce was employed at Louisiana Wholesale Drug. She enjoyed fishing, watching TV, reading and playing with her nephews.

She is survived by her brothers, Leland (Sue) Guidry Sr., Chester (Yvonne) Guidry, Frank (Jackie) Guidry Jr., Russell (Becky) Guidry, Francis (Toni) Guidry and Maurice Guidry; her sisters, Lena (Earl) Richard, Lucy (Brent) LeBlanc, Aline (Bryant) Broussard, Kathy (Brian) Meche and Sylvia Guidry.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Guidry Sr.; mother, Ella Montet Guidry; her brothers, Jerry, Ronald and William Guidry; her nephews, Dylon Guidry and Caleb Robin; and her niece, Stacey Richard.

Pallbearers were Chester Guidry, Frank Guidry Jr., Russell Guidry, Francis Guidry, Maurice Guidry and Bryant Broussard.

Honorary pallbearers was Leland Guidry Sr.
