THIBODAUX -- Customers could buy a special Dreamsicle from an ice cream truck here, authorities allege.

According to Lafourche Parish sheriff’s officials, the truck was pulled over after a resident complained the driver was selling marijuana from it.

Jonathan Trahan, 19, 6830 Main St., Houma, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hunter Pitre, 19, 212 Mike St., Houma, was given a court summons on a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge.

The two men and the truck were found in Mathews. No drugs were found in the truck, but deputies allegedly found 9 grams of marijuana and a glass pipe in Trahan’s pockets, and a small bag of marijuana in Pitre’s sock.
