Harry was a lifelong parishioner of Notre Dame Catholic Church. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, but on the other hand, he also loved getting dressed-up for church on Sundays.
Harry looked forward to the holidays; Thanksgiving and Christmas were two of his favorites. What he looked forward to and enjoyed the most, was boiling crawfish for his family on Good Friday, each and every year. Harry’s most memorable times were those spent with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Leora Potier Sinegal of St. Martinville; two sons, Harry Senegal Jr. of St. Martinville and Clayton (Sabrina) Sinegal of North Carolina; his daughter, Trisha (Avery) Roy of Houston, Texas; a step daughter, Joanne Gammage of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Alton (Leona) Sinegal Sr. of Lafayette, Norris (Ella) Sinegal of Rossenburg, Texas, and Junius (Bonnie) Sinegal of Breaux Bridge; four sisters, Bertha Johnson of Cypress Island, Althea (Leo) Davis of Catahoula, Rena Ames and Theresa (William) Faulk, all of St. Martinville; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Horrace and Felecia Simon Sinegal; two brothers, Horace and Dalton Sinegal; and two sisters, Altamae William and Alice Auguillard.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Francois, Ferris Sinegal, Harry Sinegal Jr., Clayton Sinegal, Quinton Sinegal, Avery Roy and Althea Davis.
