50TH ANNIVERSARY – Ray and Dot (Broussard) Daspit of St. Martinville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; they were married on Jan. 21, 1961, at St. Joseph’s Church in Cecilia. They have three children – D. Scott Daspit, Nicole Daspit Latiolais and the late Mitchell Daspit – and seven grandchildren.
