Cecilia – Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Gregory John Gautreaux, 53, who died on Saturday, June 19, 2010.

Greg was a substitute teacher for St. Martin Parish Schools, a member of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association and a referee for high school basketball. His hobbies included taking care of his cows and playing the guitar.

Survivors include his mother, Rose Gautreaux of Arnaudville; his daughter, Natalie Guidry and her husband, Jared of Lafayette; and his sister Martha Knott of Arnaudville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Gautreaux Sr.; and his brother, Leonard Gautreaux Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Jared Guidry, Greg Richard, and Shawn Gautreaux.

Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
